I need a KVM switch to connect two computers together. It comes with two dedicated cables that split into USB and HDMI cables for connecting to computers. It also comes with a control switch which I like because I can hide the KVM switch and bundle of cables under my desk while I can use a small control switch to control between two computers. After plugging the system together, I couldn't use the monitor, keyboard, and mouse on either computer. I suspect it was the poor quality of the cables and switch. Since the switch only fits the cables that came with it, I wasn't able to test it with higher quality cables, so I sent it back. The switch was unusable for me.
