Didn't work with keyboard and mouse

I was able to get 1 monitor switcher to work with 2 PCs but couldn't get it to work with wired keyboard and mouse. I wouldn't recommend this if that's your configuration.

Works Great - External Components

I thought this item was defective as others have said. I played around with it a bit, my extension cords and graphics cards and it worked. The price is reasonable, the external switch is awesome. Overall 10/10

Worked well - external components

It didn't work in the end because one of my PCs was only using DisplayPort and not HDMI. I hooked up an HDMI computer and it worked right away. Didn't even have to restart the computer. Unfortunately I had to send it back and buy one that had HDMI in, DP in and HDMI out.

Great for more than one processor

It's good for me when my PC and laptop are connected. I had to buy a splitter to connect two monitors. I also have a wireless mouse and keyboard. I can switch from working on my desktop or my small business laptop and still use both monitors, keyboard and mouse with no cable clutter.

I couldn't get the system to work

I need a KVM switch to connect two computers together. It comes with two dedicated cables that split into USB and HDMI cables for connecting to computers. It also comes with a control switch which I like because I can hide the KVM switch and bundle of cables under my desk while I can use a small control switch to control between two computers. After plugging the system together, I couldn't use the monitor, keyboard, and mouse on either computer. I suspect it was the poor quality of the cables…
