So I bought these over a year ago after my house caught fire. They installed all the wired ones I hate. I bought them thinking the light would be brighter and they should last 10 years. Exactly a year later a detector goes off in my bedroom instead of chirping like a fire like it needs a new battery. there is no fire So I change the battery anyway and put it back in. It repeats itself two nights later. So I try another new battery, no. Departure the same night. Then another of the four I bought did the same. I do not recommend buying these.
