If you're buying this I'm assuming it's a late model Subaru Turbo engine. That's the problem. NGK says the correct clearance is 0.024. The last digit 6 means a factory clearance of 0.6 mm or 0.024. It was confusing. This space is FALSE. Subaru says 0.020 to 0.022. But look at it. When you open the box, the spark plugs are factory set at .020 instead of the advertised .024. If you do not know the correct Subaru game and you strictly follow the NGK game, most likely you will simply set the game to 0.024. how i did it I have no idea why NGK would do such a trick. The bottom line is, leave the settings alone and install the stubs as is. Other than that these spark plugs work great but again in Subaru settings. When tuning NGK, engine idling, especially in cold weather, becomes uneven and unstable.
