Highest rating even though it is only a print. Everything seems just as good as the original. Just a little different, but not enough to affect performance. It was only an inch longer than I needed and was easy to trim. This gasket fits the vertical edge of the vent. There are assembly questions here. The product images do not show a profile view you need to see the details of this gasket and if it will fit your vent. I have activated the profile view. You can see that the protruding edge enters a deep groove from above. The seal has an additional rib; This should be facing out and sitting on top of the new cover. I also applied a small amount of silicone to the rim of the hole, slid a gasket over it, made sure it was fully seated in the groove, trimmed off the excess at the end, and wiped off the excess silicone. A NOTICE! Replaced this gasket when I replaced the vent cap; KAMCO No. 40148. Good cover. We saved time and money by giving it to the dealer on wheels. Much luck!
