I use this pillow as a neck pillow and also as a back support. Neck Pillow: The pillow is soft enough to conform to my neck and support the parts that need support. As it was intended for a neck pillow I can see that the width of the pillow is not suitable for everyone. Travel Pillow: Since the pillow is memory foam, I can roll it up and use the straps to keep the pillow folded. shape and store well in my travel backpack. It ends up being about as thick as my 32oz Hydroflask.
