I recently replaced a chandelier with serif glass. The reduced look white rosette I was aiming for. I was so happy to find these nesting rings. I have 5 lamps so I had to buy two packs leaving 3. So glad I had an extra because of the 8 rings only 5 screwed into the socket. Two will still not rotate fully, leaving the globe loosely anchored. Three screwed it up perfectly. The thickness of these rings is about half as thin as I replaced them. Luckily, since the chandelier is high up, you can't see the tops of the white rosettes. However, that would be a real visible problem in light that's more at eye level. The concept of this product is excellent. Actual performance leaves room for improvement.
