Review on 2L Super Quiet Tespo Cat Water Fountain - Keep Your Pet Hydrated With A Drinking Water Dispenser (Blue) by Maurice Jimenez

I have tried many water fountains for my cats and this is the worst as far as ease of cleaning. It gets super disgusting and grimey, very quickly. As in a week, when being used by two cats. It comes apart into around 7 pieces? Which is ridiculous. The top piece where the water sits technically, has these almost pinpoint small holes (to let the water up through I assume). These get gunned up very fast and are so difficult to actually clean. I’ve tried soaking it, using different bristled brushes (dish brush, tooth brush, stiff brush bristles, etc) and soaking in super hot water and dawn, and there is still some funk in it. I’ve had water overflow but it’s not like a normal fountain where it just goes over the side and down onto the surface when I overfilled, that’d be fine since it’s my error, but this has so many parts on the shell part that the water leaks into the different shell parts and then you have to disassemble some pieces to dry it. Just absolutely poorly designed.Also, good luck finding replacement filters! I bought this in november 2018 and they already no long have it in stock itself, nor the filters.
