An excellent monitor probably has the fastest response time of any monitor in this price range, I hardly noticed any ghosting, unlike the AOC monitors which had a lot of ghosting. However, the image quality in dark scenes can be quite poor as there isn't enough black on the monitor to display them, resulting in color banding and lots of dark squares appearing on the screen. In my opinion it's a good compromise at this price point, you definitely do NOT want slow response times which seems to be the compromise every other manufacturer uses. Great buy for a budget 144hz monitor.
