ATTENTION! I have worked with two of these dealers and both have the same critical defect. Right out of the box I measured the distance between the seat of the transfer case (just below the clamping surface) and the lower pressure surface of the transfer gear. This is Ford's well-known specification of 4.031" to 4.038" which ensures that the pinion sits on the pressure surface inside the block. For BOTH units I have found the size to be between 4.003" and 4.005" when measured according to Ford's instructions. These distributors would eat away (at the top of the distributor housing) if I installed them. Look elsewhere if you're smart.
