Review on ๐Ÿ”Œ Attwood 4606-7 Tsunami T500 Bilge Pump, 500 GPH, 12-Volt, 3/4-Inch Outlet, 29-Inch Wire by Christopher Shah

Have 3. Buy 4 more. They are holding.

I put three of these in the cabin of our boat which is always filling with water as it floats in the shallows of the ocean. One each in the front, middle and back. Along with swimmers. One of the floats failed and has been replaced, but the pumps keep running. Most of the other pumps we have had usually fail. You are in a bad environment. The boat is old and the hull is absolutely filthy. The boat sank three times due to previous pump and battery failures. Luckily the water is flat and the boat is big. When we hear from our roommates that it has sunk, we use garbage pumps to bring it back up to the surface. The boat gets worse every time it sinks. We now have two batteries. Let's get back to the case history. It's full of dirt and other junk. Can't easily clean it in the sea. Return shipping costs between $2 and $300. The best we can do is keep it afloat and fix it as best we can. Until we decide it's time to replace it. These pumps have been through a lot in a few months and I've decided to buy 4 more, 2 as back-up spares (just in case) and 2 at higher levels with floats. If the main pumps fail. I have high hopes for these pumps. Well, if I can find a float to hold in the hull of this boat. :P
