This is a great little oscilloscope! I'm pleasantly surprised at how much I can do with so little money for such a simple single-channel oscilloscope. I ran some tests with the 555 in a monostable, astable, and astable PWM (pulse width modulation) circuit. I had no problem triggering my input or output pulse in monostable mode, astable worked perfectly, as did the PWM view. The signals on pins 2 and 3 of the 555 were as they should be in all circuits. The included alligator clips are great for both beginners and casual users. The only issue I had was that when you display things in very large timeframes (like 20 seconds or a maximum of 500 seconds per division) things got a little buggy. range) and I also had to cut some of the molded rubber off the power cord to get it to run right to the end. In general very happy with the purchase! Look for a power cord with a longer cord or convert it to battery as the cord is short but none of that will stop me from buying again or returning. You CAN adjust horizontal and vertical position of the line (has fast and slow pan mode for each axis), DC filter for AC mode works fine, duty cycle, peak voltage, frequency etc are pretty too I agree. Great for mobile use and/or the 95% of the time you don't really need a main scope. I got the fully assembled version as the price difference wasn't enough to make me worry about building it. Just read the instructions and/or find a good tutorial so you can see everything it's really capable of. Excellent purchase!
