I have many different sets of sheets but bought them for a hot sleeper. I use both a floor fan and a ceiling fan and I still sleep hot so I'll try them. In testing I have found that the sheets keep you cooler than most other sheets BUT the main factor is what's UNDER the sheets. (And on top if you use duvets). These are NOT miracle sheets and they don't match $400-$1000 water cooling systems, but there are a few things you can do at an affordable price to make your night (or day) more enjoyable >>. I tried putting it directly on the mattress. The sheets were definitely cooler than the cotton, percale, and satin sheets, but I still felt hot at night. >> Tested with a mattress topper on the bed - it was significantly cooler but I still felt residual heat on the bed as I moved. The Styrofoam mattress topper does not claim to be warm. help with cooling. It's the same material used in hospitals, but being immersed in foam created a layer of residual heat. If you have these, you will not be able to feel any benefit from cooling foils. Check out "cooling" mattress pads to put under the sheets and try them together. These sheets are attractive, fit very well and keep the temperature down if you have the right UNDER sheets. You can't expect miracles if you're sleeping really hot, but even a 3-5 degree drop can benefit many and suit most budgets. , that can really help.
