Impossible to remove the sticky tape from the stairs
Good news: the carpets stick well to the stairs and did not slip around.Bad news: after two years of having these on our stairs we had to remove them because we are moving.
We have spent HOURS trying to remove the sticky backing from the steps! It does not come off easily at all. Two rounds of Goo Gone, a scraper tool, and the a deep wash of the steps with Dawn Dish soap and there is still a residue! Be prepared for a lot of work whenever you decide to remove these carpets.
