I bought this as a test for suspenders on my pants (I can't sew, I need to darn), measured it, pierced the fabric and attached six to my pants. Sturdy, looked good with suspenders and held my pants up well. Bought two more sets to do the rest of my work pants and heavy jeans. Simply mark, push through the fabric (I used a nail to punch the original hole in heavy denim), use a hammer on a hard surface. Strong, support, just what I wanted!
