It went on my 2001 Mini S easily with one of the two sizes of threaded studs provided.
Reception is good, but I do live in the middle of the city. Seems to be as secure to the vehicle as the original.I'm sure there are less expensive antenna available, but the fit guarantee was worth not having to exchange it.I would recommend.
- Used to replace the talk stock antenna.
- May not receive AM radio signals well
