I've worn 13W shoes all my adult life, my feet are normal, not fat. I ordered New Balance 4040v5 men's sneakers with a power of 13 watts. They are very narrow at the toes and press in the toes. Changed to 14W. 14W is still too tight at the toes. I untied the laces completely on 14W, they are still too tight at the toes. If I ran in them or did track and field, I'd have bruises and smashed toes. It hurt her to just stop and walk in place. I have other 13W shoes that I wear every day and they fit great and don't chafe my toes. The shoes look very nice and make a solid impression. I would like to wear them but they are too tight. If they suited me I would probably give them 4 or 5 stars for the looks, design and durability. I could try 15W but they can be too long to wear and cause me to trip, so I just returned 14W with no exchange. Only buy this if you have narrow toes and even then buy a size larger than you wear.
