Exactly what I wanted. Classic, proven design in a robust steel housing. The lens is made of glass and is therefore not attacked by chemicals. flimsy, but still better than the crappy plastic lenses you see on really cheap gauges that pop right up. The only drawback was the shipping packaging. Bourdon tube gauges are inherently fragile and can be damaged by even moderate physical shock, e.g. B. when they are dropped. The shipping package was a regular bubble envelope wrapped around a small corrugated box filled with a pressure gauge. If the package had been dropped by the carrier or thrown roughly, it would not have been enough to save the pressure gauge. A few extra wraps of bubble wrap around the box (the thing with 1 inch bubbles) would have rendered the packaging blast proof.
