Gray - not quite silver - fringes, that's normal.
It's real grey, not silver. I was expecting it to be more metallic and shiny. I used this to add fringes to a performance suit so I cut pieces and sewed them to the suit. The ends of the cut pieces tend to unravel and lose fringes, which is unfavorable. I drop the fringes. This is the whole roll you get but the roll is a little bulky. Overall it works for what I needed it for, but I'm not overly impressed.
