I have a 2013 Nissan Titan Pro4X 4X4 with a factory trailer kit and it was a direct replacement, the wiring harness fits, everything was a direct replacement, everything worked fine once I installed the new one. I've never changed these, just old fashioned ones with soldering etc. Took me 5 mins max, from start to finish. You'll need a flathead screwdriver and pliers to unscrew the old block if it needs a little coaxing. If you really want to get it right, use a rag and a can of WD-40 to clean the mount before installing a new connector (only the mount on the car, NOT your connectors; you can grease the connectors with dielectric grease or spray spray). ). Harness contacts to protect against corrosion/water damage. I live in California and we don't get rain so I didn't do it but I would do it wisely. Do what I say, not like me - daddy's motto!
