I received one of the stoppers with a slightly wavy edge so that it cannot hold water. The manufacturer quickly made sure that I got new ones. Excellent! The filters are great, they are very easy to empty and clean and don't leave water in the sink if you don't want it. They don't have any odd indentations or grooves for food particles to get stuck in, so they clean FAST and look shiny and new every time. Watch. The water gets stone cold before the corks give up. I like this two piece much more than the typical one piece. One detail seems more convenient, but it seems like they always break, close when you want to open it, open when you want to close it, or smell horribly because they are wet all the time and have leftovers in theirs work get stuck parts. I must have switched to a two component system a few years ago.
