We have a foam mattress but like to sleep on natural materials. Wool or cotton is preferred. Bamboo is good too. I use a latex mattress topper for resiliency and a wool mattress topper for breathability and temperature control, and then a pure cotton mattress topper, but when I saw them in the ad I thought it would be a good idea to cover the entire synthetic mattress with it Organic cotton to protect it a little more. It's very difficult to put on by one person - my husband and I managed to do it in minutes by working together. It was also difficult to equalize, but we managed. It took about 15 minutes. I deducted a star because the retail price for a cotton mattress cover seems absurdly high and I don't think it's worth the price. But it's very well made and I'm glad we have it on the mattress. It's worth it, but I can't help but decline the price. And believe me, latex toppers and wool toppers are expensive - I don't mind prices.
