Better than I'd hoped for!

I ordered this net as an "upgrade" to the smaller net I already had. I did read the dimensions when I ordered it, but it was still bigger than I'd imagined! This is my first season raising monarch caterpillars. I had seven in a teeny tiny net, and they were growing at an alarming rate. This new net came in JUST in time for chrysalis formation! My only regret is that I didn't order it sooner! My old net only held about 4 stalks of milkweed comfortably. This new one can handle at least five times that amount! Too bad my caterpillars were just about full by the time the new one came in.As you can see in the attached photos, one side is completely clear, for easy viewing. (It's still a little wrinky in this picture because I took the photo only minutes after unpacking it. It has smoothed out some since then.) The zipper side is so convenient. It has a double zipper, which I'm super thankful for because one of the caterpillars made his chrysalis right on the track. 🤦‍♀️ I can still access the inside of the net though by zipping down without disturbing him.The net is super lightweight. (It's built very much like a pop up hamper.) I was worried about the wind trying to topple it over, but I put a brick in the bottom of the net. That is keeping it upright just fine, despite a terrible windstorm we had this weekend. My ferns toppled over on the patio, but the net was undisturbed! I'd definitely recommend adding some sort of "weight" to your net to keep your caterpillars and chrysalises safe.Currently, I have nine chrysalises inside, most of them hanging from the top of the net. And there is MORE than enough room for more friends!I haven't yet tried washing it, but the smaller net I have (pictured) is the same brand, and I've washed it with no hassle at all. I don't expect any trouble with this one either.I like that it folds compactly, which will make storage at the end of the season super easy. The only thing I'd wish to be different would be for the netting to be more sheer. It's not impossible to see through, but it's sort of like looking through a window screen. It's a little tricky. But I think that the clear plastic viewing side makes up for that! All in all, I couldn't be happier with my purchase. And I've already referred a friend to your site to order one for herself! Thank you, Restcloud, for making my first butterfly season a happy one!
