Seems to be accurate. I bought the model on 3/25/37. In ice water, the lowest value for me was 0.06°C. Very sensitive and constantly updates the temperature. Currently used in an incubator and hoping to find a second probe as it has 2 connectors and a button to toggle between them but only 1 probe is included. This device tracks the current, minimum, and maximum temperatures since the last reset. It could be improved if the mode or at least the average temperature was also logged, or even better if it could log all values over time and maybe send these values to the app (I can dream of that!). For example, the thermometer said the maximum recorded temperature was 37.71°C, but there is no way of knowing how long the temperature was this high when the device was not observed, as the current temperature is now 37.5° is C. EDIT: I contacted Thomas Scoentific and a support rep contacted the supplier in Texas to ask for a second probe. She was told that unfortunately the sensors are not sold separately as a separate sensor is calibrated for a thermometer so while this unit does have a connector and toggle switch to install a second sensor it is not possible to get a second sensor .
