I mainly fly Cessna 152/172 and this knee pad perfectly solves the problem of holding my device. Works well with my iPad mini and smartphone. That's right, the kneecap wobbles a little. But it's almost imperceptible (I can't imagine at what level of turbulence the movement would be significant - I probably would have been better off not flying that day). Also, I could easily set the desired position and angle of the gadget. The clips are covered in a "rubber" material so they hold firmly but softly. Considering the price, I think this knee pad is way ahead of the competition.
