I just installed two on the posts that support my pergola. I've used cheap thin wood studded aluminum caps from Lowes and Home Depot - this product far outperforms them! I ordered 6x6 and it is perfect for the 6x6 SPF treated stakes that are common in the south. The included screws held it securely and seemed very strong and durable. I will be buying more of these for my entire wooden fence now. Worth buying! NOTE: The company name includes the word "iron", but the cap is made of die-cast aluminum and is still extremely durable.
