One just went through the washing machine!
A friend returned one of our remote controls and I put it in my bag because I had nowhere to go. Forgotten and thrown in dirty clothes, and she went to the laundry. When I got the clothes out to put them in the dryer there was my 4 piece remote including the guts and I knew it had been destroyed. Out of curiosity I reassembled it and surprisingly the red light came on. I went to the gate and the gate opened! I highly recommend these TOUGH gate openers. When they get through a washing machine, they can handle anything except maybe stomps.
