Great for Pastry Doughs

Mine arrived undamaged and to apparent specifications. As with any surface, I recommend a slight dusting of flour prior to inserting the dough disk. I found that keeping the press flat on the work table and applying downward pressure on the TOP, rather than the handle, results in an evenly sealed hand pie.With proper use, it functions perfectly and is a great gift for bakers in the family.

Pros
  • It is very nice but it’s larger than I expected. If you need one this size, it’s a great buy.
Cons
  • The empanada maker press is difficult to clean, as food often gets stuck in the crevices
