Great value and as reliable as any of the tailgate handles I've tried. On my truck with an internally latched decklid I have to use a tailgate lock and this certainly contributes to the speed at which I can get through the tailgate handles although if you pay attention you will see many of these generation trucks on the road with broken handles and tailgate trim, not one of GM's best designs if you ask me. It installs easily, has good texture, and pretty good installation action. I think the retaining clips are better than average and appear to be better than the OEM. Buy one if you need one, I should probably carry a spare with me at all times.
