Has many features that you will find difficult to find at this price point. Receives bright enough light for most plants. However, it also gets quite warm. I bought two to compare. Same problem with heat. At low power there are no problems, but at maximum power it seems to be too hot. However, I was still able to easily manage and adjust it without burning myself. The temperature of the water didn't seem to be much elevated but bear that in mind. The gooseneck gives you plenty of mounting options but is a little flimsy. You can move it very easily. I have the same cheap IKEA lamp on a gooseneck with a much more precise and tighter stroke. More like that. I found it inconvenient to rotate the base 360 so the mounting screw was at the rear as shown in the description. So I loosened the nut on the underside with needle nose pliers, turned it around and tightened it again. I wasn't expecting the LED body to be polished aluminum (I thought it would be black plastic) but that's a good plus for the quality. The extent to which you can adjust the white and blue balance parameters is really good, you can set up a really good flicker effect. I'm good with the 6/10/12 timer options but I also did a test with a basic turn timer and it worked well remembering its setting! Most non-mechanical light switches I've seen don't do this. I wish I could find info on PAR and light temp but my plants are still so pearly.? Overall I think this is a great light. I think I got my money's worth, but time will tell. If they can solve these little problems, this flashlight will be the clear leader among the best cheap nano tank flashlights. However, this was my fault, but it raises the question of quality. I pressed the power/mode button so hard that the membrane was pushed inward, causing the lamp to stop working and go to full brightness. The keys can be weak, but be careful not to use your gorilla fingers. 😉
