This little light works great, dims very little and gets very bright. I have a 6 gallon and it works amazing. I set a timer for 10am and I turned it on at 9am because that's when the natural light leaves my room. Since then, the lights have been on at 9 a.m. and off after 10 hours. I never have to adjust it unless I want blue like night time. I haven't read about this as a feature online or in a manual so I'm not sure if it's just mine, but it works every day and it's amazing.

I've had this light for almost a month now and have no complaints. The timer works well and has 6, 10 and 12 hour settings. Light is a good force for my plants and they grow well in it. It would be nice to set it to automatically switch to blue at some point before shutting down, as I've found it messes that up if I want the blue light to stay on for several hours in the evening (to simulate moonlight). Timer. .Moreover, it works as expected and is a good alternative to more expensive lights.

The light is very bright, the modes are excellent and very subtle. I also appreciate that it has its own timer. The gooseneck and clamp are absolutely terrible. I've only found one orientation where the neck holds the light in place so it doesn't fall off. The clip is the worst thing about this flashlight. October 2020 I bought this light for a nano aquarium that I am adapting to hold some low light plants and some shrimp. At the moment my new aquarium is running on a bike so I can't comment on how effective the light is with livestock or plants in it - I'll update this in a few months when I leave the lights on.
