I love my stool!

I bought this step stool for my dressing room, intended for a very tall person. I have reviewed many stools on multiple websites and chose this one based on the reviews and looks. I wanted white, it had to be at least 19 inches tall, it had to be strong and secure. Took me a good hour to assemble it. Two would be much easier. All the parts and details were included, as well as a decent tool to put it together. Please see my notes for instructional photos. This saves you time. The difficulty I had was that the stool had to be loosely assembled until it was mostly assembled and THEN you tightened everything up. I have arthritis in my hands so I had to save the last two screws for my husband to tighten. I liked how it looked! But I took care of security. I'm a retired nurse and a broken hip from a fall isn't worth the aesthetic appeal of a step stool. I knew I would probably be barefoot, in slippers or socks on this stool and the whole thing is a big NO. Safety always comes first. So I decided to put self-adhesive anti-slip strips on top and on the step. I used 2" wide duct tape, cut two strips and cut each in half. I placed one strip on top of the step. At the top I placed two full joists and one middle joist. I know it ruins the look but I will use these use the top step most often to get to the top storage shelves plus it's in the closet I'm happy so I guess that's what matters.
