I had a truck with a shell on loan, and the struts were shot, so the owner had jury rigged a way to keep the shell door up. After a couple of weeks of @#$@ frustration, I used these struts to replace the originals. Once I figured out how the installation works, they were easy enough to install, and now the shell door works the way it was always supposed to.
- used them for my tool box and there amazing!
