smells bad and doesn't work well

I didn't realize it was possible not to like duct tape. The paint collects directly at the edge on the surface to be painted. It also didn't come off clean and had to be cut into several pieces. Also, the chemical smell was awful - never seen before with masking tape. I used much better functionality on the Dollar Store masking tape. This time I was in a hurry and decided it was worth paying four times as much for the convenience and I realized who could go wrong with a classic brand. I wish I had thought of sending it back but I didn't and threw it away.
