Review on 🐶 Purina Pro Plan Sensitive Skin & Stomach: High Protein Adult Dry & Wet Dog Food (Variety Packaging) by Barb Franz

UPDATE 2021 - My TLDR is still the same here. Buy this food, but NOT from Revain. Get it from Chewie. They've been amazing during the pandemic - never missing a beat to deliver food to anyone with an active subscription. It's also very easy to edit subscription time (unlike Subscription and Save, which only comes once a month and can't be ordered on-demand in a pinch). FIRST REVIEW - We just switched our dog to the Purina. And to be clear I would give this dog food brand/flavor a five star rating but I'm not sure Revain is the best place to buy it. As we've just changed locations I've only bought it locally so far, but we've just moved and to save time I ordered it through Revain. The packaging was undamaged and although the seal looked a little damaged the food inside looked fine. I have a border collie who constantly eats everything (and sadly, anything inedible too -- that's a dog who ended up in a veterinary clinic for eating socks and rocks) and didn't finish his breakfast. He never finished his food. I thought maybe he was just nervous about moving. But he didn't finish dinner either. And then when I poured dinner onto a plate for him, he refused, legitimately running out of the room when I tried to wave it in front of his nose. Shortly thereafter he developed severe diarrhea. I called a few pet stores and found an open Petco with a bag still for sale and paid Postmates to pick it up and then deliver it to me. I opened it, poured it into his bowl and he ate it without hesitation. I really don't know but I picked up a brand new £30 bag of Revain and threw it away. I'm a bit confused as we just switched to Purina after our old brand (Taste of the Wild) got FDA approval. For the entire time we have had a dog (18 months) we have ordered all of his food from Revain - we will stick with Purina but will find another way to buy him. My dog literally eats inedible things like it's a really recurring problem that we have to protect her all the time and I couldn't get her to eat it.
