The clasps are plastic clasps that require you to line up all the clasps to seal. The problem is that getting all of these fasteners to line up correctly is very difficult and usually takes a while. So if you're in a hurry to seal this package, you'll be disappointed; like I said, you're going to be there for a while trying to get them all to line up. Royal Pain! Then if you have several items in your bag or it is heavy; The weight forces the flimsy latches to open, which means you have to take the time to realign them. You'll find that you have to slip one hand under the bag when carrying it with the other when it's holding heavy groceries to prevent it from opening the fragile clasps. This company definitely needs to find a much better, faster and more reliable way to seal a package than those flimsy zippers!
