Review on 36-48 Inch Round Elastic Edge Fitted Vinyl Table Cover with Tuscan Tile Pattern in Brown Tan by Tarus Clinton

I purchased this mosaic patterned table cover to cover an old 44 inch diameter round wooden kitchen table that was badly dented and scratched from decades of use by several generations of family members. . The tablecloth looks high quality and is quite durable. The top/decorative side is made of plastic. It has a very thin backing on the bottom. Elastic edges are double stitched. I have uploaded some photos of the top, edge seam, top and bottom views and bottom/back. The table is a dark wood (walnut) table with a gold pattern applied to it and neither the wood nor the stencil are visible through the lid The lid fits my 44" table perfectly and I was able to put it on the table myself without too much trouble. I was expecting this to be more difficult based on some other reviews I've read. I know Some people have said that it is difficult to fit a larger 46-48 inch table and I believe you may need 2 people to properly fit it to a table larger than 44 inches. Previously, it was easy to clean with a damp paper towel, non-abrasive sponge, or antiseptic cloth (like a Lysol or Clorox cloth.) It looks lovely on its own and doubles as a thin underlay age when I want to cover it with a tablecloth. I have found that this helps reduce the movement of the tablecloth across the table. I use it on an indoor table but it can be used to cover an outdoor table or on the patio. Not using it for this purpose I'm not sure how it will hold up if left on an open table, in the sun or in bad weather. Overall I am very happy with this purchase so far.
