Review on πŸ–₯️ Lenovo FreeSync 27" NearEdgeless Monitor - 1920X1080P, 144Hz, Wall Mountable, Height Adjustment, Blue Light Filter, HDMI, IPS by Javier Gomez

Revainrating 3 out of 5

It's not special enough for $280.

There are plenty of other monitors you can get with the same specs for $50 less, so this one has to be something special to be worth it, and I really don't think it is. I mostly used it in combination. with a 360Hz laptop, and despite the huge difference, it's still an extremely smooth display. Colors are ok out of the box, but I wish they were because the entire OSD is buggy (at least on my device) so there's no way to change anything other than brightness, the other menus just won't let me in. For gaming, it works surprisingly well. I have a 32" 1440p monitor and it seems to have more viewable pixels than this 27" 1080p monitor. As a general rule, I wouldn't recommend 1080p on any screen size larger than 24", but I can't deduct a single star for that here as some people still want it. Backlighting is minimal and I haven't had any other issues with the display. The stand is cheap and doesn't offer any adjustment other than some tilt so I see no reason to increase the price of this monitor I feel like it could very easily be 5 stars if they fixed the OSD and lowered the price but at this point it seems like you're paying more for less than the competition, especially when you can get a 1440p 144hz monitor of the same size for the same price.

Pros
  • It is very good and very well equipped for its price
Cons
  • Bad response time
