Like many people who have bought a new series of MacBook Pro (with Touch Bar), I've been annoyed by the need to use clunky adapters that are expensive and easy to lose, not to mention, that sometimes they are easy to separate, and sometimes the keys also overheat. I've bought several of these in different sizes as needed and they work great. I particularly like that they all come with a small Velcro strap so I can organize the cords in my backpack when traveling without worrying about them getting tangled. It is strongly recommended to use old cables and different adapters.
