Review on 🚜 Pertronix 1244A Ford Tractor Ignitor Kit for Original Distributors - 4-Cylinder Single Point, 12-Volt Negative Ground (Models: 8N 500-800 Series) by Nicholas Harrington

I bought this for a '52 Ford 8n tractor that I am restoring. I installed it on 9/7/19 and it worked like clockwork until it broke! Tractor "lost fire" last week. I went through the "testing procedure" on the support site and found the module failed, so I called support to request a replacement. I don't know who this guy called Pertronix but he was rude and obnoxious and talked to me like I was some kind of idiot! By the way, I'm a retired electrical engineer! He gave me another test to "narrow down the problem" which I later found would give a false positive every time. I put the old glasses and condenser back in place and the engine started right away! I'd like a replacement module but they won't honor their 30 month warranty.
