I bought this for a '52 Ford 8n tractor that I am restoring. I installed it on 9/7/19 and it worked like clockwork until it broke! Tractor "lost fire" last week. When this igniter is properly installed on a Ford 801 Series tractor, the dust cap and distributor cap will not fit. You will need to use a dremel or other tool to remove the entire bottom center section around the dust cover post hole. This is not mentioned anywhere in the instructions that accompany this part. Used on Ford Model 631 4 Cylinder Gasoline Engine. Installed new distributor cap, rotor knob etc. Also installed new 40,000 volt Pertronix coil. My third review. You got it right, well, Amazon did it. Apparently Pertronix hits Revain while they count the money. This thing when it works is amazing, hits points all day. You never know when it will stop. There's no reason to leave it other than being outside in the rain and all that can do.
