Powerful amplifier, decent enough

Pyle Model: Review PDA9HBU.5 (Wireless Bluetooth Home Stereo Amplifier). SD memory slots for playing stored music β€’ Initializes USB fairly quickly readable β€’ Bluetooth version: 2.1 β€’ Has FM radio β€’ Volume is good β€’ Speaker output connectors: (2) pair of banana plug speaker output connectors (which you can also connect the cables to directly by unscrewing and inserting the cable behind the connector) β€’ Plenty of inputs (10) β€’ Good sized knobs/knobs / easy to turn and press Cons: β€’ When you play the USB/SD card, it reads the files in order of the most of the earliest modified folders to the oldest. When I used my 128GB flash drive it showed over 5000 folders. You have to physically press/turn the dial to scroll through the specified folders and search for the selected music. This can get in the way of you trying to find a specific folder, unless you create some sort of table of contents (paper or spreadsheet, etc.) to organize your music. Also, folder names are truncated and only the subfolder name is displayed. β€’ The push/turn knob for USB navigation tends to get stuck so you have to pull it out for it to work (knob needs to be changed as it works fine if you peel off the plastic knob to remove the cover). Also, this button is the only way to sort folders, the remote is only used to skip forward/backward one song at a time. Different inputs are selected by turning the rotary wheel. TO PERFORM THESE TASKS, THE UNIT MUST BE INSTALLED/POSITIONED WITHIN ACCESSIBILITIES as the remote control cannot do this. β€’ Radio stations cannot be tuned in manually. All of this is done with auto scan storing channels in 12 memory presets. β€’ The remote control for the unit is small (like the one that comes with a car stereo). The buttons on it can be confusing.

Pros
  • Handy thing
Cons
  • Cable shorter than others
