2015 Ram 2500 Dealer Checked

Wowsers! So clean and even adds a bit of bass. Ironically, these 3.5-inch speakers match, if not exceed, my factory 6x9s. I can't wait to buy 2 sets of the reference 9623 IX Infinity to install in the front and rear doors. If they are as good as these 3.5 inch speakers compared to my factory speakers I can't imagine how good this truck will sound. I ordered these as well as the $27 wire harnesses to make the installation process easier, but unfortunately the wire harnesses were shipped the same day these speakers arrived and were supposed to be delivered in another week or so. me. They may arrive quicker and if they do I'll probably be disappointed with the seller's lazy shipping information but I couldn't wait a week for the wiring harness so I installed them the hard way. I cut the factory connectors off the wires on the truck, spliced an extra 4-6 inch wire onto the factory wires, and made a connection on each wire that would drive the speaker. I then connected it to the back of the speaker and tested the radio. The sound is much better and in super satisfied. I will be ordering 6x9 door speakers and wiring harnesses in the future and will try to be patient next time as there is likely to be a drop in quality if it's done the hard way, but I didn't want to wait. It would be nice if Infinity offered a wiring harness with these speakers so you don't have to look elsewhere. Overall I'm very happy with these little boomers. I've attached a screenshot of the information I used to correctly connect the speakers after trimming. Factory wiring harness and hardwired in new connectors on the positive and negative leads for each speaker. If you don't know what to do, consult a professional. I'm not a professional and I don't tell anyone what to do. I'm just showing what I've done.
