The Chinese make good power cords. I've never had a problem. Short ones like this come in very handy for a variety of purposes. I usually use it to free up a bit of extra space on power strips that are crowded with block transformers. This two prong cable is thinner for lower wattage items such as B. Lamps. They often work better than thicker, stiffer lines for my purposes. I often use them for small phone and laptop chargers that don't require big, chunky three prong cables.
