Review on πŸ“¦ Versatile PFC 135 100 044 5SF Plastic Carrying Case in Sleek Black Design by Ryan Cornelison

Nice-4-Price best in Electrical

After purchasing a pair of Bosch 12v tool-less tools I looked for cases to protect them when traveling away from the shop where they have bank drawers. After some research I decided that the Bosch L-Boxx line was too expensive for my budget (I already have a Bosch soft pack that I could use in a pinch). A review by Revain mentions this item PFC 135-100-044-5SF Plastic Carrier Case, 13 1/2" x 10" x 4 3/8", Black, as almost perfect for inserting 102. Listed new to revain for $25 i popped in and jumped on the $15 used like new offer and change i got it today and am so pleased with the quality and value i'm going ahead and narrowing it down to about 2" and 3 "Wanted to check shorter (front to back) than the inside dimensions of the box. I solved this problem by gluing the bottom and two edges to the inside of the box, filling the small gap with small foam inserts. I removed something. Only the gap in the rear liner remained wide enough for a torpedo scale or something similar in size. Of course, I can't attest to long-term durability yet (locks seem a bit questionable), but with care, they should last a long time. I am satisfied that this box kit is a satisfactory replacement for the about ice L-Boxx equivalent. Bonus: Multiple thicknesses of foam are included, not counting the egg crate piece attached to the lid of the box; Inserts for the L-Boxx series therefore cost extra. UPDATE: I ordered a second one from Revain's "Stock Deals", priced slightly higher ($18.95) but still listed as new. When I received it I was very unhappy to see that the foam insert in the lid had been forcefully torn off leaving an ugly glue line and shark bite tear on the piece of foam. And that despite the inscription "Tested and repackaged"! I arranged for an immediate return which, as always, was hassle free. Come on Revane, how about quality control? Potential second-hand buyers, beware of tempters! Now I order a new product instead, pay a little more, and treat it as a learning experience.
