This brush is enough to get down the shower drain. It really helped loosen the hair and mold in the shower drain. Our shower drains very slowly over several weeks. We had to scrub really aggressively and there was a lot of black mold on the hair. It was disgusting to use. We tried the draino and wanted to use a snake but it didn't fit through the shower drains. This brush has done its job. After pulling a few strands of hair off the brush, the drain started flowing again. I had to use a different cleaning brush to remove hair and mold from this brush. The only downside to this item would be that it is too flexible (pretty easy to bend out of shape) and really awkward to use. I can still highly recommend this brush. It really works, just make sure you have a good pair of rubber gloves!
