Error. I don't see what's wrong with this counter, but there was nothing but trouble. I opened it up and calibrated it with Fluke, but even then it gives erroneous readings. Strangely, some of the erroneous readings repeated, giving the impression that the problem was in the circuitry, but when tested with Fluke, performance was ideal. Accuracy is very important in my job, but I needed a shot counter for a field. All he had to do was give me an accurate AC power reading. This gauge could not do that without problems and dangers. So, out of the blue, I trampled it. I buy a good cheap little simple accurate reliable gauge and in the 21st century it shouldn't be difficult, especially for a big company like GE. This one is built on failure and I would never buy anything from the GE brand again if I could.
