I take LOTS of photos. I was concerned that my computer was several years old and one day I would try to turn it on and it wouldn't start. So I bought it to use as a backup. It's been about a week for me and I've already filled up over 100GB (that's with every picture, file and document I have on my computer). I have just over 800GB left! After it dives into your computer and is not used for a certain period of time, it will shut down. Which I like because when not in use I'd rather turn it off. Considering I take so many photos this might have been the best money I've spent, apart from my camera of course! :) Included is a cable to connect to a computer.
