So I was hesitant to get these at first and not sure what size to get having red the reviews. I normally wear either a US 10.5 or 11. I bit the bullet and ordered the 10.5. I put them on and thought oh no, I made a mistake they are too tight. I left them on for about 5 minutes and noticed they didn't feel tight anymore. Since then I notice they feel tight whenever I put them on, but fine after a few minutes.I have had them 2 months now and finally got to really use them as we got about 10" of snow.I have no complaints, my feet are dry and warm, but not hot. I am even wearing them around inside no issue. I shoveled my driveway twice in them, didn't slip even though its steep. Took the kids sledding, and my jacket got wet, my butt got wet, but my feet stayed warm and dry. I have no concerns about stepping in slushy puddles or anything with them. They are not huge and bulky, but fit fine under my jeans or snow pants.I don't think they are cut out for backwoods or mountaineering, but doing chores and playing with kids, they work great. If they hold up for a few years then they will have been worth every penny.
