Yeowtch - itching, burning, then rash!

I cannot confirm the effectiveness of the product, I just wrote that I had negative reactions to it. I had just crossed my mid-40s and really wanted to find a good daily sunscreen to protect against [further] aging. It was rated so well that I chose it over its closest competitor, Roche-Posay products (which I usually love). naked eye but easily felt with fingertips when washing or applying moisturizer). I've also been using a new body lotion "fragrance" so I've gone back to my tried and trusted staples to calm myself down a bit and try to finally get rid of the culprit. After two weeks, I applied it again two days in a row when I was in the sun for a long time. The first day as soon as I went outside and started sweating my throat would start burning and then itchy like crazy - I was just out gardening in the garden so I ran in and washed my neck thoroughly. My face was fine so I left it there and reapplied the product to my ears and face (excluding the neck) on the second day when I was going for a long weekend walk. This time again when I went outside and started sweating. , the product started to burn and itch in the eyebrow area and around the eyes in general. I washed it off as best I could at the nearest public fountain. The next day I started to develop itchy, painful, swollen patches on my face, ears and neck (I did my best to visualize the latter but it was difficult to photograph the area I couldn't see! ) So this time there was no other "new to me" product and there was nothing that I applied gently to my ears/face/neck, all areas that then turned into a rash. Unfortunately this is not a product that I can use and unfortunately a waste of a significant amount of money. >:/ I've used other physical sunscreens (like Badger) in the past with no problems, so the cream must contain a substance besides what's causing the problem.
